Are you ready for another Womens Bible Cafe online Bible Study? The next bible study will officially begin on November 2, 2015 and we are reading Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer. This is a brand new Bible study workbook and we are excited to learn targeted and specific tools for strategic prayer. This is seven week study and we will meet in small groups via Facebook where we STUDY. CONNECT. GROW.

If you have never participated in online study at the Womens Bible Cafe, it's pretty simple. You'll read the workbook at home, then visit the Womens Bible Cafe to participate in online group discussions. We have small group meetings everyday of the week, morning and evening, via a private Facebook group.  Choose a small group that best fits your schedule…and if you miss a session then you are welcome to attend another one during the week so you do not fall behind.

Participate by yourself or with a friend. Either way, you won't be alone! We have many women from around the world and your participation in the group discussions makes the study enjoyable for all! You are not assigned a leader, you will simply come to the first small group session on the day and time you want to participate. The leaders will ask you to introduce yourself and your name will be added to the group membership list. No emails to find, no secret groups to locate…we all meet in one large “chatroom” at different times during the day.

I strongly recommend you get the workbook early…as many local churches are leading the study too! You will not be discouraged if you order the workbook early. Because it’s so popular,  some online stores say “on backorder” or “allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery” and this is incorrect and automated information.  I’ve seen it many times and when I call the publisher at Lifeway the tell me the workbooks are available, the automated “quality available” is inaccurate and needs updating. Order the workbook as soon as possible to encourage the publisher to update the online stores. If you are fortunate enough to have a local Lifeway store near you, go pick up your workbook.

Priscilla Shirer videos sessions for Armor of God are available for download via Lifeway. They are not required for the study due to the cost, though highly recommended and enjoyable. To download videos from Lifeway- click here

What You Need for the Armor of God Online Bible Study

  • Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer Amazon or Lifeway
  • This study uses the New American Standard Bible (NASB). You are welcome to use any Bible translation of your choice.
  • The workbook is NOT available in Kindle format. For international students, there is a version for the Lifeway Reader app. Many women have told us the app fails constantly and they would not recommend it. Only if you are unable to get the workbook in international countries, and since the publisher does not offer the convenience of Kindle format, here’s an option of last resort… get the trade book instead of the workbook. Many online studies use trade books and it’s not something we’ve found beneficial to our studies. However, if you can’t get a workbook then get this trade book in Kindle format: Fervent: A Woman’s Battle Plan to Serious, Strategic, Specific Prayer by Priscilla Shirer.
