MOSSYJOJO'S PICKS: TOP 6 NO-SEW CRAFTS

Posted: 22 Jul 2015 02:14 AM PDT

I have to be honest with you. I cannot sew!

I do have a sewing machine and it's been sitting in my room for umm … eight years. I must have had persuaded myself that owning a machine was a step towards learning how to sew.

I promise that one day I would learn how to sew. For now, I'm happy enough to find projects that require no or very little sewing. You'd be surprised that there are actually quite a lot of things you can make without a sewing machine.

These are some of my favorites.

SOURCE:

1. Fabric Covered Planters from Hello Natural
Transform any boring planters into beautiful, colorful displays with fabric and mod podge. What's more, you can also check out some ideas for a beauty herb garden. And there you have it: a beautiful planter with a herb garden that will make you look beautiful too.

2. Bow-back Tank Top from Creating Laura
I'm sure many of us have a lot of old t-shirts in the closet which we can repurpose. This diy only requires 3 materials - old t-shirt, scissors and glue.

3. No sew Temp Sofa Cover from MossyJojo
I did this as a temporary solution when my kids deliberately doodled on my microfiber sofa using Sharpie. If you ever had a Sharpie accident, this may be for you.

4. Pineapple Baby Costume from Lines Across
A pineapple onesie, complete with its headband cannot get any cuter than this. I wish I had seen this tutorial, when my kids were still babies. It would be a perfect kids costume for a summer party too.

5. Fabric Gift Bags from We Are Scout
These gorgeous gift bags are super easy to make. Using only four materials but the design options are endless.

6. No Sew Pieces Doll from Babble Dabble Do
How beautiful are these dolls! Best of all, it only takes less than 5 minutes to make each one.

Which one is your favourite?
Enjoy and happy crafting!
